In order to qualify for a USSSA State Tournament all teams must either play in a USSSA Qualifying Tournament or play in a USSSA Sanctioned League.

Illinois State Championships
USSSA is proud to announce its 2012 State Championship dates and locations. Last year's State Championships featured nearly 300 teams, with most every age group increasing and with the addition of the "Single A" division. An even greater number is expected in 2012 as teams from throughout the state will compete for the chance to be named USSSA State Champions!! Remember that all teams looking to compete in a USSSA World Series must participate in their respective USSSA State Championship.
Teams may begin registering for the 2012 State Championships for their respective age group and classification. Teams may still classify themselves at the beginning of the year, but note that the USSSA State Office will be tracking teams much more closely in 2012 to determine what their true classification should be. The first set of reclassification will start the week of October 31st. All teams on the border of changing classifications will be contacted by the USSSA State Office and made aware of the situation. In order to be considered a Single A team it must be approved by the USSSA State Office.
